Google Glasses: The most expected gadget of this year

One of the most expected gadgets in all times are the Google Glasses. Specifications have been just revealed by Google in their FAQ page.

Watch how the Google Glasses feel:

This gadget is made with flexible materials, even the nosepads are totally adjustable, the idea is the glasses to fit any size of face and be as comfortable as possible.

When you wear the Google Glasses it's like having a 25 inches screen at 8 feet (2.5m) of distance. This was measured by engineers to be an ideal distance for watching everything that Google Glass shows without distracting us from what is happening around us.

Has a 5 megapixels camera and record videos at 1280x720, quality is excellent thanks to a HQ light sensor, this way you can make video-calls at 720p. Google glasses don't have conventional earphones, instead have a system that transduce sound directly to the bones around your ears. You can connect it through WiFi and Bluetooth. Internal storage is 16GB , although only 12GB will be available. Anyway you can synchronize with Google Cloud and get more virtual storage. To send SMS and use the GPS features you'll need the MyGlass companion app and at least Android 4.0.3.

According to Google the battery of our Google Glasses will last one full day of typical use. Some features, like Hangouts and video recording, are more battery intensive.

Google Glasses could be available at the end of this year with a cost of $1500USD. A very expensive gadget for the average user.
