How To Take a Screenshot with Android 4.0

Take a Screenshot in Android ICS

Android 4 ICS and later versions offer a native way to capture a snapshot of your screen.
It doesn't matter your device model or brand, with Android ICS and Jelly Bean you don´t need to root your phone or tablet to take a screenshot.

It's easy. You only have to press and hold the Volume Down and Power buttons at the same time for about 2 seconds. Then you will see an animation on the screen when the screen capture is saved. The result image is saved in your Gallery, inside a folder called Scrennshots. Now you can browse this folder with your Gallery app and see all your screen captures.

Easy or not?

How to Jailbrake iPhone 5

Easy way to Jailbreak iPhone 5 (iOs 6.x) NOT 6.1.3

Jailbrake means eliminating the restrictions Apple imposes on your iPhone 5 to ensure that you are not able to run various of new applications, games, as well as change the look of your iOS.

The jailbreak process is totally reversible by a normal restore in iTunes.

It's a process that allows iPhone 5, iPad, iPod Touch users to gain root access inside operating system (iOS 6). So we can install third-party applications blocked by Apple natively, through softwares like Cydia, Installous or Rock. Also you can jailbreak iPhone 5 for installing some quite expensive Apps for FREE ;).

The jailbreaking process is completely legal as long as you don't use code owned by someone else.

Image: Apple
Supported devices:

  • iPhone 5
  • iPhone 4S
  • iPhone 4
  • iPhone 3Gs
  • iPad with A6X chip (4th gen)
  • iPad 3
  • iPad 2
  • iPad mini
  • iPod touch 5th gen
  • iPod touch 4th gen
  • Apple TV 2nd generation (unfortunately, the third gen isn’t supported by Evasi0n)
You can downgrade your iOS from 6.1.3 to 6.1.2, supported devices for this are the iPhone 4, 3GS and iPod Touch, anything newer than this is stuck. Here are the steps to downgrade your firmware, assuming you have saved your SHSH blobs – this cannot be stressed enough because, without them you cannot downgrade.

Ok let's Jailbreak iPhone 5 (iOS 6.1.2 / 6.1 / 6.0.2 / 6.0.1)

Evasi0n is the latest free jailbreak untethered tool that will work on iPhone 5 running iOS 6.1.2 / 6.1 / 6.02 / 6.0.1. This iPhone 5 jailbreak method is compatible with Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux.

Before starting the jailbreak process, make a full back up of all the information from your iPhone 5. Also, if you have an unlock code enabled, disable it before proceeding further.
Here's the Evasi0n 1.4 download Links for each Operating System:

How to Jailbreak iPhone 5 Running iOS 6.1.2 / 6.1 / 6.0.2 / 6.0.1

1). Open your downloaded software Evasi0n and connect your iPhone 5 into a REAR USB 2.0 port on your computer (if you're on a desktop PC), put it on a safe firm place. Close iTunes, it's assumed that you have iTunes installed.

2). Now click Jailbreak button and wait while evasi0n starts the jailbreak procedure, do not touch the terminal at all.

If the iPhone 5 is blocked during the "Finding Offsets" or "Patch Kernel" process, reset it by holding Home + Lock buttons pressed simultaneously until the Apple logo appears on the screen.

3). Wait until process finishes.

4). Unlock Device and tap Evasi0n "Jailbreak" Icon on your iPhone 5, Tap it once and wait....

5). Wait... several restarts may occur

6). You are Done!

On first boot, your iPhone 5 will display a large Evasi0n logo on a white background.

Now Enjoy you Jailbraked iPhone 5!

How to Save Battery On Your Samartphone

Directions for saving battery

These short tips will help you extend the life of your battery and keep it running longer than you expect.

Never Charge Longer Than Necessary

In this case the heat produced by the overcharging process may reduce the battery's ability to retain power. You should watch the battery indicator icon on your phone screen to know exactly when your battery is charged, and it's better if you can charge your phone when it's turned off, because this way it will charge faster

Let the battery runs out.

Let your battery terminate almost all the power before recharging. Don't over drain your battery, do it at least each 10-15 days or you may damage it.

Don't let your battery 'Die'

When you drain all the power, your battery keeps a minimum reserve. This is for keeping it 'alive' while you decide to recharge it. If you hold your phone running when this power reserve is reached, you will surely 'kill' your battery. The power reserve your battery keeps will not last forever, so never leave it uncharged for long periods of time.

No Vibration

Only turn Vibration on when you are inside a church or a hospital or any other place where silence is required. Or if you are in a concert or a stadium and it's too noisy to hear your phone ringtone.
When your phone vibrates it really feeds power to a pair of servo motors that eat a lot of battery.

Airplane Mode

If you reach an area without network service and your phone shows a 'NO SIGNAL' message, you can activate a function called Airplane Mode if you need to have your phone switched on. This function disables the radio on your device, so it will stop searching for signal. If you don't need your device switched on, then turn it off until you enter an area with network coverage.

Limit Your 3G/4G Data Speed

If you only need your data plan for sending/receiving text messages with BBM, Whatsapp, Facebook, Viber, Line, Skype, Talk or any other messenger you can downgrade your speed momentarily with a feature found in most phones called 'Use Only 2G Data' or '2G Mode'. This function disables the 3G/4G/LTE connection and acticvates 2G/EDGE protocol. You will save much battery in this mode.
If you will not use the internet at all, then it's better to turn your mobile data off.

Music, Videos and Games

Listening music, watching videos, and playing games, are very demanding tasks for your battery, mostly because all of them require the screen to be always illuminated. Games and videos also need the graphics proccessor to work, and this will drain your battery quickly.

Location Services And Online Sync

Turn this items off while you don't need them. GPS, Bluethoot, Push Mail, Accounts Sync.
You can also uninstall all the software you don't use in your device, many apps keep in memory, synchronize data in the background, and it's a real waste of battery power.
