New iOS 6.1.4 Update, Only for iPhone 5

Apple has just released a new update of its mobile operating system iOS 6.1.4 it's only available for iPhone 5 (for now). It's 11.5 MB, and apparently brings only a novelty: an updated audio profile for speakerphone.

This update has surprised some developers, as Apple never suggested experimenting with audio profiles on iPhone 5 iOS beta phases. Probably it also brings stability and security improvements, some actions to hinder the jailbreak?, Maybe.


From now you can upgrade your device to iOS 6.1.4 in system preferences or if you prefer with iTunes on your computer, connect your phone to a USB port.
Remember, this update is only for the iPhone 5. The others will have to wait for a new update from Apple.
